The Alexander house, an original 1959 Alexander "Butterfly" mid-century modern marvel has been beautifully restored to its original beauty.

It is furnished throughout with 1950’s furnishings from Eames, Paul McCobb, Herman Miller, George Nelson, Heywood Wakefield and more. Open and high ceilings prevail throughout with mountain and desert landscape views from all rooms. The entertainer’s kitchen has new and stainless appliances including period pieces, 50’s dishes and glassware which opens into a large expansive dinning/living room with touring ceilings and walls of glass overlooking the gardens and sparkling new pool.

The beautiful desert landscaping includes a newly (2004) re-plastered pool with period piece tiling, lush green lawns with cactus, citrus trees and seating/outdoor dinning and patio areas. The Alexander house is Palm Springs Modern Rentals most authentic mid-century home from its original design and architecture to it’s 1950’s designer furnishing.
